HeroDevs is the leading provider of Never-Ending Support for sunsetted open source software. We’re completely bootstrapped and growing at break-neck speed. In the last 2 years HeroDevs has grown from 8 employees to 65 and counting. HeroDevs serves over 500 customers including some of the world’s biggest companies like Microsoft, Google, Capital One, GE, Experian, and others.
What You’ll Do
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential prospect through cold calls, emails and social media etc
- Present our company to potential prospectIdentify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Account Executives
- Report to the VP of Sales on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Skills and Experience Required
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Hubspot)
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Experience in the software security industry
