Technical Product Manager - Java

The Technical Product Manager (TPM) is responsible for assisting with identification of new products and for the planning, development, and launch of new products- specifically those in the Java ecosystem. The PM will work closely with engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure that products are aligned with business objectives, and meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with product and market research to identify unmet customer needs and new customer segments
• Develop and execute product roadmaps that align with the company's overall business strategy
• Write requirements and provide a clear vision for Java-based product development
• Work closely with open source partners and third parties for comarketing, cooperation, and product alignment
• Understand and improve existing Java products over time
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to launch new products and generate demand
• Set metrics and measure product performance and usage data to identify areas for improvement
• Stay up-to-date on the latest software development trends and technologies, with a focus on Java

Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise and commercial adoption of open source software
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar experience
• 5+ years of experience in product management or a related role
• Strong understanding of the software development process
• Proven track record of delivering successful Java-based products
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Time zone requirements: Working hours must overlap with US Mountain Time for at least 4 hours daily
