HeroDevs is the leading provider of Never-Ending Support and Enterprise Professional Consulting for sunsetted open source software. We’re completely bootstrapped and growing at break-neck speed. In the last 2 years HeroDevs has grown from 8 employees to 75 and counting. HeroDevs serves over 500 customers including some of the world’s biggest companies like Microsoft, Google, Capital One, GE, Experian, and others.
What You’ll Do
- Client Relationship Management: You'll be tasked with forging and nurturing enduring relationships with our clients. By deeply understanding their requirements, you'll ensure their utmost satisfaction, laying the groundwork for ongoing business and client referrals.
- Product and Service Mastery: Gain a thorough understanding of our offerings, from their core features and advantages to their practical application. This expertise will empower you to effectively convey our value propositions and customize solutions that align with our clients' specific needs.
- Direct Sales Engagement: Take an active role in all facets of the sales process, from negotiating terms to finalizing sales, and overseeing client accounts. Your goal will be to boost revenue and achieve our sales objectives.
- Market Insight: Keep a pulse on market trends, scout for new opportunities, and tweak our sales tactics as needed. This includes staying informed about what our competitors are doing, understanding the needs of the market, and pinpointing areas for potential expansion or enhancement.
- Tailored Solution Crafting: Dedicate yourself to creating bespoke solutions for our clients. This involves a keen understanding of their unique challenges and proposing products or services that effectively address those needs.
- Lead Management: Screen leads from marketing initiatives, determining their potential as sales opportunities.
- Outreach: Engage potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, emailing, and social media.
- Company Representation: Act as an ambassador for our company, presenting our offerings to potential clients.
- Needs Assessment: Identify and understand the needs of clients, recommending suitable products or services.
- Business Opportunity Identification: Actively search for new business prospects within the market.
- Scheduling: Organize meetings or calls between potential or existing customers and our VP of Professional Services.
- Sales Reporting: Regularly report your sales outcomes to the VP of Professional Services, whether weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about our latest products, services, and adjustments in pricing/payment plans.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for effectively conveying value propositions, negotiating deals, and building client relationships.
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and foster trust and loyalty.
- Sales Acumen: Proven sales abilities, including understanding sales processes, negotiation, closing techniques, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Analytical Thinking: Capability to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and sales data to make informed decisions and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Problem-Solving: Creativity and innovation in developing tailored solutions for clients, addressing their unique challenges and requirements.
- Prospecting Skills: The ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, qualify leads, and convert prospects into customers.
- Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing multiple leads, client accounts, and sales activities efficiently, alongside setting up meetings and reporting results.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, data analysis tools, and possibly some level of expertise in the specific product or service domain the company operates in.
- Adaptability: The capacity to quickly learn about new products, services, and changes in the market or within the company.
