In the last 2 years HeroDevs has grown from 8 employees to 65 and counting. HeroDevs serves over 500 customers including some of the world’s biggest companies like Microsoft, Google, Capital One, GE, Experian, and others.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Channel Sales to join our team and lead our channel sales initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth through indirect sales channels, while reporting directly to the VP of Sales. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of channel sales, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets through channel partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Channel Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy aligned with our overall sales objectives
- Channel Partner Management: Foster strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing them with the necessary resources, support, and training to achieve sales goals.
- Sales Growth: Drive revenue growth by setting and achieving sales targets through channel partners. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our products and solutions, enabling effective communication and support for channel partners.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the VP of Sales and cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure channel partners have the tools and resources needed for success.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities, providing insights to guide channel strategies.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong leadership skills and team management skills.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful channel sales strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- 5+ years of channel sales experience, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling software or engineering services to corporate and enterprise clients.
- Strong understanding of open source technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is a plus
