Software Engineer (Product)

‍Job Summary and Responsibilities

HeroDevs partners with open-source authors to give companies Never-Ending Support, expert consulting, and engineering for sunsetted open-source packages.

‍

We are looking for a senior-level engineer to build the platform to ensure the products our customers depend on are secure, stable, and compliant.

‍

This role may involve building platform components as well as product meta-development to partner with open source contributors, security partners, and your own expertise to deliver our customers more optionality with their tech choices.

Required Qualifications

• Experience solving technical challenges at all levels (web, service, and infrastructure)
• Experience with building secure and scalable software development lifecycle infrastructure (build, test, deploy)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or distributed team environment.
• A genuine passion for open-source software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AngularJS, Angular, Vue, Drupal or other major open source web products
